In a landmark year filled with several international tours, millions of music streams, plus a feature in the 2024’s revision of the cult classic film The Crow, Canadian cold wave duo TRAITRS demonstrated all throughout 2024 why they are one of the hardest working bands in the modern goth scene. With their nightmarish mosaic of icy guitars, melancholic synths, motorik drum machine rhythms, anthemic melodies woven together with horror-laced lyricism, TRAITRS captures the spirit of older bands like The Cure, Bauhaus and Cocteau Twins, while keeping their feet firmly planted in the present day.

“With a cinematic blend of post-punk, goth, alternative and post-rock, their emotive melodies, propulsive rhythms, angular guitars and dark cinematic electronics quickly led to the duo becoming one of the dark music scene’s fastest rising independent artists.” - The Big Takover
